This one was hard, and I’m happy to have escaped with a 4. After 2, I thought of EPOXY, but that had been used, but at least it made me think of EMOJI. Which I was surprised wasn’t the solution, because WTF else was still out there? Really nothing besides the solution, but it wasn’t easy to find.

FRITZ → A not entirely unexpected whiff. Good first word second time, with
LANES → I had hoped for a little more there. I’d better try some vowels, I’m sure there’s at least one more in there
DOPEY → Good call. The first word I saw I had to try for my next attempt, lest I be overcome by irony on the fifth try
BOGEY → OK, it wasn’t that. From GO?EY, I thought about literally every consonant in there, discarded them all (mentally), then finally got around to the repeat vowels

It’s interesting how the “WoFcons” and “vowel-heavy” strategies complement one another, particularly when I need to transition quickly from one to another. Scoredle also finishes in five, with a methodical all-green board.
