GUESS → It’s nice to pick up a rar(er) letter early, which nearly makes up for the wasted second S. With E gone, I should try an A and… can’t do three, so at least two WoFcons
FAULT → Placed the U, and a T pickup. With S gone, that T is probably not second, so try it in first, and we can try our last two WoFcons with

My third guess was about 12/17, near the end of the valid possibles, so rather lucky that it came together as it did for a tap in for par. Scoredle finishes in three with a tap-in of its own; its second guess was just that good.

My third guess proves that I am indeed a DUNCE for not using the R.
