SLOPE
CHOSE
I waffled between SLOPE and CLOSE at two. CLOSE would have looked more impressive, but the result would have been the same.

At first I thought my second word was a bit of a waste, but according to Scordle, it narrowed my choices from 2,194 down to 45. Of those 45, 10 were actual legit words, so there was definitely a bit of luck involved in this birdie.

I got lucky with the C.
CHOSE → Well. Guess I should try an A and a… T? Or maybe another E and an… R? More here than meets the eye. I’ll go with my first seen word
CHEAT → Well shucks. So close.

Feels like I should have had a two here, but it turns out that second guess was very lucky. Scoredle, again more methodical, takes a double-letter detour for its second guess but its last two guesses are just like mine.
