CHEAP → I thnk I’m out of vowels. Lets try three WoFcons
RENAL → RELA?, I think I’m about to birdie
RELAY → Ooooh, didn’t see the X word
RELAX
Tough miss on the 50/50. Scoredle gets it right to make the birdie putt. It also liked my second word so much that was its guess as well…

Happy with a 4 after starting with a goose egg.
RELAX → Hey, no sweat. Two letters already! Add WoFcons, an O, and stir.
STORE → OK, that wasn’t great now. I’ll do the Scoredle thing and double up on the E. Can’t think of a way to use N, so I’ll defer it for now.
CHEER → Nice pickup on the C! But I’m halfway gone and this looks a little trappy. It’s time to exercise the I
CIDER → Nothing doing there. Perhaps a second R? CURER, or…
CRYER → Nope - but that Y was very lucky for me.
CYBER
Not really sure this should count as a standalone word. Scoredle finishes with a bogey, which gives me some hope that my play wasn’t as bad as the score indicated - on my fourth guess, though, Scoredle goes right to the correct answer. Alas, so far from par.

Lucky, lucky, lucky. After 2, I saw CRIER and the mini-trap of CREE(D/K/P), but I didn’t see the solution at all. I went with a sleuth word on 3 which was intended to use the I,D, and P to choose among those, but if my sleuth word hadn’t by chance had a B, I might still be looking.
