GLINT → Slow start. There is a good first word second I can use here, so
LASER → That’s some progress. I wonder if I can try all the remaining vowels with one word?
SOULY → Wordle says yes, regardless of how bogus said word might be. With that middle O, there could be a double, or nothing but vowels left, and I see a good word for the middle
SCOWL → Ah, it was a double.

My second guess wasn’t on Scoredle’s list of the 120 best follow-ups; my third guess was was about 70/109. Is it any wonder I bogeyed the hole (though I did have a 50-50 chance at par)? Scoredle on its own gets a birdie, winning the same 50-50 putt that I missed one guess later. Ah, well.
