Uh oh. The --y-y start is what led me to a Triple Bogey back on #1614.
It seems Wrong to waste a slot on O (thinking only of Oaken); I’d much rather ask
WARNG or such to locate the A, but Warng isn’t a word. This is a disadvantage of
Slate – A in 3rd position seems very useful in forming sleuth words.
Pecan is a Wardle word so the percentage play: The only other word I could
think of was Naked, a non-Wardle word.

Doing the spoiler is easy, just not obvious at first glance. You highlight the text you want to hide, then you click on the black circle in the upper right with the + sign in it, and then scroll aaaallll the way down to ‘Blur Spoiler’ and click on that. The text you highlighted should be blurred.

Second guess was 27/1026, so about 97% percentile in terms of skill, and turned out lucky as well. My first thought for the third guess is a complete non-word, so it looks like I had a tap-in for birdie, which is nice. Scoredle places only one letter with its second guess, then tries to place another by duping it for its third guess, leaving it with a tap-in par.

Looks like you’ve figured out the spoiler! One quirk: you can spoiler part of a paragraph, or you can spoiler a paragraph or a whole sequence of paragraphs with a single spoiler tag. But if you spoiler one paragraph and part of another, you need to do two separate spoilers for that.
Yeah, once I figured out yesterday’s solution, I figured some people would be unhappy with it. Well, HUMPH*, I say to that!
