PLAZA → Hmmm… keep thinking… Huh, didn’t think there’d be a word with another vowel, but I can try

DRAMA, TIARA and LLAMA were also valid possibles after the initial guess. The sheer volume of bogus possible guesses on this one were extraordinary - 68 after the first guess, 26 after the second. All those bogus words make it hard for Scoredle, which finishes with a bogey (which, to be fair, could have easily happened to me even if I had stuck only to the valid words).

GUAVA → So, kinda cool - one and only one A, and only three spaces left where it could go - one of which is covered in a really good first guess second
STEAL → and now there’s only one place the A could go. So I think of things with other letters, and I try something vowel-heavy
ATOMY → Where did that come from? Well, I started trying combinations of R, N and O first, then just went for whatever came to find. Ridding myself of two vowels isn’t that bad, though, because I decide to abandon WoFcons, try an I, and then see what was up

Well, I could have had a birdie, if I hadn’t gotten so darn desperate on my third guess, because the solution is the only valid possible left after two. Oddly enough, though, my guess for the third was Scoredle’s favorite for that situation, so it “looks” like the right play there according to the algorithm. Scoredle has it rough on this puzzle, though, finishing with a bogey after a 50-50 miss.
