"Wordle," a strangely compelling word game (Part 3)

DRAWL → Also nope. And I’m running out of consonants. And other vowels don’t plug in there, so I’m stumped… until I think about repeats

This one was deceptively dangerous, though it might have been easier if my second guess didn’t score 19/21 from Scoredle’s possibles. At three, there were only three nonbogus words left, but ten bogus ones - so the likelihood of picking a bogus word or two was fairly high, especially if I started assembling and trying words from random letters like I often do when I’m stuck. Fortunately I stuck with the valid guesses, even if I got them in the wrong order. Scoredle makes a tap-in par thanks to its much better followup guess.

DRAMA → One and only one A, so the second one’s not wasted. Started hunting around for high-WoFcon words here and settled on one that was less than optimal (O instead of E, and an easy substitution)
LOANS → So that went well, now I tried to cover that elusive T (and had a shot at another E, why didn’t I take it here?)
STALK → New letters went nowhere, but I’m getting closer by elimination. So I started to get this rather apathetic attitude about it, which led me to
BLASE → So I finally covered the E, to no effect, and now I’m looking for consonants that can fill in those end spots
CLASH → Got one. With one guess left, I think there’s one possible word left
CLASP

Horrid misplays all along the board. I even missed trying the ultimate good first guess second, I guess I was a bit tired last night. Turns out I was safe after my third guess, though going the distance was still a pain. Scoredle goes for that UGFGS, ending up with a par and even converting the 50-50 putt it’s confronted with after three.
