AMPLY → The carryover nets us one vowel. With the L gone, I can’t use the quintessential first word second, but I can try the A with E and three more WoFcons, like so
SNARE → I hope to avoid a trap, normally, but this word was just too good to pass up. T is still out there; I can try it with the three known letters with
TREAD → Placed one, need to start working on other consonants. Two places left for the R, I can place it for sure with
REBAR → With the bonus B, it can only be

Scoredle liked my fourth guess, which put par in the rear-view mirror, but would have suggested a move to place the R with the third guess instead. On its own, it makes a couple of good cut-down plays but then misses the 50-50 par putt (mine was also 50-50 valids, but with more bogus possibles) to score a bogey of its own.

REHAB → One lonely A. If I add an O, and three of the remaining WoFcons, I can generate a word that is probably bogus
SANTO → Here, I couldn’t think of any ?ASO? words, so I went with a regular plural just to shake things up
MAKOS → What!?! Terminal S? And either OA? or ?AO for the first three letters? I wasn’t thinking well here, and dismissed the former out of hand, fixating on Wordle’s British origins and thus trying
GAOLS → But a couple seconds did it here

Should have gone to bed after the second guess, and I might have gotten it in three if my mind was a little fresher. Scoredle shows nineteen possibles after two, all having the same terminal letter, and only one was nonbogus, so it was there for the taking. But, I somehow did much better than Scoredle, which picks all bogus words after the carryover and misses a 50-50 guess on the sixth to end up in the loss column for today.
