BROOD → Not much to start, wasted an O - any good news? Sure, plenty of good first guesses second, namely
REALS → Two WoFcons left, two slots to put them in - I know just what to try
STERN → No pickups, just eliminations. Time to try another vowel - U, I, another E? I’ll try I
MISER → Oh, so close

My third guess was literally the median possible remaining, 32/63. It did like my later guesses, though. My shot at par was out of six valid possibles, so not quite as close as it looks - there were high odds I would make a second six in a row. For its own, Scoredle ends up with a 50-50 for par, but misses it (on the same last two guesses I made) and ends also with a bogey.
