The longest delay here was checking each of the consonants to make sure there wasn’t another possibility - and there wasn’t, it was a true tap-in. Scoredle also makes short work of it with a birdie, though it took a 50-50 putt to do it.

Refreshed the browser, and I’m relieved to say that your solutions are looking normal for me again. Interesting choice of starting word, but it’s apparently working for you, and that’s all that matters.

BATON → Slow start. I do see a word, though, that finishes the WoFcons and adds an E, so
REALS → No help there. Next vowel to try would be I or Y, if I try I it could be
APHID → Good luck with the I - and the P, too, so that was a productive guess. I started checking ?IPA? (BIPAP? probably not) then PI?A?, but if I put the A at the end

Scoredle gave my followup 59/1403, then 6/74 (though it would have won the puzzle on my third guess). The final guess was a tap-in with three bogus possibles, though one variant would have given me pause as a possible had I seen it. Scoredle has a tough time with it - a lone unplaced letter is all it has for the first three guesses, but then the power of elimination kicks in and the bogey is a tap-in.
