"Wordle," a strangely compelling word game (Part 3)

CRISP → Four WoFcons left, add two of them to A & E, mix and try a good second word first
STEAL → At LEAST my SLATE of anagrams would have been just as STALE. OK, three vowels left, I should try two of them, and the remaining WoFcon, and whatever other vowel fits. First thing I see is
SNOWY → And I got really excited about using the next word to “place the N” but realized that given the lack of other vowels, it was the only word left

That was a fun kind of puzzle, just enough challenge to keep me going through each phase of the solution. Scoredle also solves in four; it takes its own path through the second and third guesses, but after my second guess, it validates my choices thereafter.

I think I actually played this OK. After the trap I saw FEVER, NEVER, LEVER as well as VEXER, NEWER,FEWER and DEFER and went for the word that eliminated the most.
