SLING → Well, that’s something. A, E and the last three WoFcons, if I shuffle them up and try random “words” I can get
ANTRE → I think there’s another vowel out there. U, Y, O, second E? I’m looking at non-WoFcons, mostly, so I’ll try a word with a terminal Y
BENDY → Missed on the vowel, but picked up a letter and placed another. If I add an O in 4th, put D at the start and N must go last, it looks like

I got lucky with my third guess - 54/75, but it left a single valid word (out of 4) for a tap-in par. The solution was 24/75 from that guess, so not a shoo-in playing by Scoredle’s algorithm. That algorithm had a great followup, and the solution was 2/28 for the third guess, leaving a tap-in (1 valid out of 6) for the par.
