SLANT
CHORE
Easiest 2 ever - the solution is my standard second word, which I use any time my starting word doesn’t give me enough info to go with something different. IOW, probably about 3/4 of the time/ (And definitely any time my starting word draws a blank, duh!)
Have a 2-2-3-2 streak over the past four days.
Especially glad this morning to see you’re still using the starting combo as I am!

HEART
SHORE well the 12 year old in me wants to try WHORE, but more likely is…
CHORE
RIVET → Kinda well-balanced start. Leads well into a good first word, so I’m pretty satisfied with it
LEARN → With the R placed, where should the E go? I’ll try the end, and O is the next vowel to try, and S is the last WoFcon, and I could try SCORE or
SHORE → So there are two possibles here, but I’m pretty sure the NYT will never make one a Wordle answer, so
CHORE
Scoredle works overtime to place the R on its second guess, but ends up with the same par in the end. Fun, not too challenging, quick solve.
I would have had a 2 for #1324, except that I guessed D instead of E .

I stumbled upon TRONE quite some time ago (it’s a type of scale) and enjoy pulling it out from time to time. It came in handy today; I really should add it to my starter list.
It sure paid off this time!

CHORE → Darn, I was hoping for a whiff so I could try SLANT as a second word. After thinking a while, I couldn’t figure out a word with two other WoFcons here, so I went with one and an A
TRADE → That was no help. Try the R in the middle, and something with a I… or maybe a U. Yeah, U.
PURSE → Process of elimination finds the R. Good luck on the U! ROUGE is out - only thing I can think of with R?U?E, but R??UE gives us
REVUE
I was a little luckier than Scoredle, though we both finished at par. The algorithm had nine possibles to choose between on the last guess, though seven were thoroughly bogus and one was rather archaic.
