Probably should have jumped right on the Q at two. But I’m happy with this par.

I spent waaay too much time looking at those four yellow letters before finally figuring it out.
A double since I was on a hike.
VERSE → Not bad, though one E might have been nice. I’ll try two vowels and another WoFcon - and the first word I see that fits those criteria is
SARIN → So, didn’t get much from it. L & T left from WoFcons; U, O & Y for vowels. I see a word with T & O, so I’ll try that
STROP → At least I got the O. Figure it’s in second. Getting a double-R vibe here, so I’ll go with
SORRY
TORUS was the second guess for Scoredle, which was a lot more fruitful than my follow-up - the algorithm finishes with a birdie.
SORRY → Slow start. A & E and two more WoFcons.
ALONE → An A, and placed the O. There is one more WoFcon, and I obsessed until I found a word that uses it.
BIOTA → Of course, that was the wrong word with an -OTA ending…
QUOTA
Scoredle guesses my second guess, and gets the answer on its third, but if I feed it my third answer, it goes for a different possible on its fourth! So Scoredle thinks I should have gotten a birdie, or a bogey, nothing in between. So I’m a little happy with that par.
ETA: right there with you, @RTFirefly !

This was almost a do-over of yesterday, given my starting words. In fact, I found today’s solution while looking for yesterday’s before realizing it didn’t work, but today it was the only word that did work after 2. The hard part today was restraining myself from using a word like DUMPY on 3 to look for more consonants, since I was probably looking at a 5 if I guessed BOOTY and it was wrong.

UNITY (Placed my TY. Now to find an O. WoFcons don’t look promising.)
BOOTY (Found it. Now I have a 71-day streak!)
QUOTA → That’s a pretty good start. But how to follow up? A terminal E and one WoFcon is about all I can try with my normal process, so
WROTE → Probably either no more vowels, or a second O. I’m seeing one word that exercises another O, so I’ll give it a try
PHOTO → Aha. ?OOT?, betcha it ends in a Y, trust the B so
BOOTY
SOOTY was also out there, good thing I didn’t see it. There was also a Britishism for “soccer” that wasn’t there either. Scoredle is remarkably to the point, doubles up on the known vowel on the second and finishes with a birdie.

I considered SLOTH at two, but stuck with CLOTH, thinking it wouldn’t make much difference. But eliminating the S would have given me an easy birdie.
I still had a chance with a coin-flip, but it was not to be.
