An elderly woman living in Illinois was taken hostage by a mentally ill man who burst into her house nude and pointed a pair of scissors at her. He promised he wouldn’t hurt her, but forced her to bathe (still in her nightgown) with him before disconnecting the phones and locking her in the basement.
