Relax, I’ve been around long enough to not ask this question. However, I did find this webcomic to be particularly appropriate. Perhaps it could be the standard response when it does come up.

A couple of cubicles down from me is a poster of physics photos taken by high school students, for an American Association of Physics Teachers contest. One of them was submitted from a student at a place called “The Pingry School”. It’s the only time I’ve ever seen another -gry word in the wild.
“Mythbusters” busted that one in the show’s first season. Darn it, YouTube doesn’t have a clip.
I think he just means a comic, not someone to dispel the myth.
Plus, Brainiac busted the quacking echo, too. It was sooooo hard: take a duck into a long, concrete industrial hallway.
It echoed.
