Nobody says ‘hood’ (as in ‘criminal’, not ‘neighbourhood’) anymore.
I’ve always been fond of the word “spiffy,” which is no longer in common usage these days. It’s such a friendly, happy word… if it were a girl, you just know you could take it home to your mother.
I call my '63 Triumph Herald ‘Spiffy Harold’.
