I thought this might be interesting; here are some words/phrases I would like hearing more when defining an observation.

Classy, Symmetry, Creative, Perceptive, Definitive, You’ve Won the lottery!
Comity, Irenic, Contumacious.

Nobody says ‘hood’ (as in ‘criminal’, not ‘neighbourhood’) anymore.

I’ve always been fond of the word “spiffy,” which is no longer in common usage these days. It’s such a friendly, happy word… if it were a girl, you just know you could take it home to your mother.

Wow. There’s a blast from the past. I had a class in high school called The Student And The Law. The teacher was a retired cop, who used phrases like ‘chipping around with drugs’.
