Work (x) reminds me of thing (y) because (z).

“Jump” by Van Halen - watching Cubs games on WGN in '86 - Wrigley Field always played it during the pre-game.

“The Unicorn” by The Irish Rovers - watching Captain Kangaroo on WGN when I was litte - Brookfield Zoo sponsored him and their promos used the chorus.

“They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!” by Napoleon XIV - listening to Howard Stern on WNBC radio - it was his opening theme.

“Canadian Sunset” by Hugo Winterhalter - watching the space rockets lauch in the 1960’s - my school’s TV station always played it while waiting to join the launch coverage.

“Fast Car” by Tracy Chapman reminds me of What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, because of the similarity in themes.

I think you mean Ray Raynor and the Lincoln Park Zoo.

When I watched “Field of Dreams,” I was convinced it had to have been written by Ray Bradbury. It had the small farm Americana, the eerie intrusion into normal reality, and the jackrabbit jumps, the odd dreamlike leaps of concept. Bradbury was very fond of that kind of flow of consciousness randomness.

I do? Well, that was nearly 40 years ago.
