Wonder what.@Frodo is going to name his new kitten? Been some brilliant soccer played, and that game was the best so far.
The first two halves ended up epically, and I feel a pang of sorrow for the Dutch team that fought to the end and never gave up. They did a great job… but soccer is like that!
God. To come back from 2-0, tie it on the last kick of the game, and then go out in the last round of PKs. Wanted Argentina to win, but gutted for the Dutch.
That was some fecking game, with what seems like an ice hockey game thrown in the middle
And Argentina add insult to injury to Brazil once again. While I’m a Brazil fan, I also like Argentina, and am now rooting for them. I also like France, so that would be my 4th fave. US was #1 but obviously not a realistic one.

The consensus here was that Argentina was a spent force after 90 minutes and I thought the same too. Tremendous character from them especially near the end of extra time and then a really solid PK performance for the win. Have to think they will come out of this psychologically a lot stronger and may well go all the way.
