This was a big topic of discussion on Mike & Mike when they were discussing whether or not sportsmanship is dead outside of golf. A golfer had gone to the officials and informed them of an error he made the previous round, and he was then penalized for it. Greeney couldn’t wrap his head around this concept, and by the end of the show they decided that sportsmanship only exists in golf.

Sportsmanship also exists in Snooker. I’ve seen many games where the player will admit they’ve touched a resting ball with their hand/clothing/cue when nobody else (sometimes not even the camera) has picked up on it.
