well the myans and newton predict that will be the year the world ends the myans are supposed to be the smartest so i wanted to know what the chances of them being correct are

It’s the end of a cycle, and a new cycle will begin. Kind of like turning over the odometer. You just start counting again at the beginning of the calendar.
My careful calculations, after much consultation with the ghosts of my ancestors and the Oracle, together with a seance over an Ouija board, lead me to the startling conclusion that the probability of the world ending in 2012 is exactly 42.
