It is said that there are more people alive today than have ever
died. When will it be that there are more people dead than are alive?
When will it be that there have been more people than there will be or
are? What is your take on the world’s human population? Are you a
Malthusian or do you have a rosier picture? Total ecological collapse,
Lebensraum disputes, famine and genocide or electric cars, high density,
harmonious housing and like peace man? Which is it?

Since you’re new around here, I’m sure we’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, but rule #1 here is to never post on something Cecil himself has answered. It’s something of a cardinal sin. The first thing you should do is read everything he’s ever written (only took me a few weeks of reading every waking hour) and then keep up from week to week.

You don’t actually have to read everything that Cecil wrote, but it is a good idea to use the “search” feature if you think that he might have covered it. That way, it saves everyone time, and you’re likely to get a better answer than you could possibly expect from us mortals.
