This is horiffic beyond words and anger is totally justified. Yes, those responsible should be hunted down and punished. But, turning the middle east into a wasteland?, destroying them totally with nuclear weapons? To avenge the mass murder of innocents you will respond by murdering more innocents? That is not justice, that is madness. That way lies the same endless tit-for-tat bloodshed of Northern Ireland and Isreal.
This is the action of a minority of extremists. To make the innocents in their country, whatever country it is, suffer for them is no answer.

The group that did this was almost without doubt sponsored by some “government”. Lybia, or the Taliban, or Saddam Hussein. This action was not the work of a couple of crazy people. The killers knew exactly what they were doing. And both to exact revenge, and to minimize the odds that it will happen again, the United States needs to react decicively, brutally, and quickly.

And if the Taliban didn’t have anything to do with and Bin Laden did: tough shit. Harboring a known terrorist and his organization will bring consequences as a result of your decision.
I just watched footage of happy Palestinians celebrating the news. I always try to keep an open mind about world events, and have tried to see their point of view. But the people they showed dancing and laughing are making it fucking hard for me not to wish Israel a swift and crushing victory in their current struggle.
I fully support any military action against whomever is responsible.
