World's best annual fireworks display

What is considered THE fireworks display to see on an annual basis worldwide?
The United States has numerous displays across the country on the 4th of July but I’ve never heard opinions on which is the biggest/best. Washington DC maybe?
I’ve recently seen the New Year’s display in London on youtube that use The Eye as it’s focal point. That was pretty impressive.
I do remember (although it’s not annual) the massive display for the Statue of Liberty anniversary back in the 80s.

The fireworks “contest” between three different countries we saw at Fete de Geneve was so loud we had to leave (it was frightening the children). I think it has as much to do with the semi-enclosed space and all the sound bouncing off of the nearby building. Not sure that it was visually all that, though.

The Labor Day fireworks along the riverfront in Cincinnati can be pretty damned impressive.

Montreal has an annual international fireworks festival.

New York, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia (Birthplace of the Nation) are pretty hard to top on Independence Day (July 4th).

The best 4th of July fireworks displays that I have seen in the U.S. were in New York City, Washington D.C. and suprisingly Penn State.

Another vote here for the (Sunday before) Labor Day fireworks in Cincinnati. I grew up in the Cincinnati area, and still drive the 750 mile trip from my current home in Long Island, NY every year, just to see the show. I also lived in Seattle for five years or so and would fly back to Cincinnati every Labor Day weekend. I told my mother it was to visit the family, but really I just couldn’t miss the fireworks!
