Actually I would be thrilled to have the bounder with a propane fuel cell that takes the little 1 pound cylinders or the next size up [it would be great for pennsic, never having to schlep up to the barn to charge the batteries]

We had a gentleman roll up to our first aid station at the UGA game Saturday. He was out of juice, and needed to get to the opposite side of the stadium. Luckily, we had just gotten large wheelchairs last week, because this guy was about 600 pounds.
We couldn’t get him where he needed to go - long story - but parked him at a TV so he could see the game.
Later, when his sled was charged up, I hopped on to take it to him and retrieve our wheelchair. The speed dial went from 1 to 10. I chose 5, hit the lever, and took off like a rocket. No wheelie, but I did almost hit people.
I had no idea how fast these things can go. This one won’t spank a Skyline, but a Rascal that does 30 is more than enough!
One time, this woman was doing a joyride on her scooter around the employee parking lot of my last employer (an insurance company). She was booking. Unfortunately, she wasn’t an employee. The police were actually called because our security officer was worried about her safety, haha. And the liability issues, I’m sure.
My favorite was the scooter some host was driving on a cooking show where he visited a NASCAR track. The scooter was a motorized ice chest full of beer. It combined two of God’s great gifts to man, speed and alcohol.
