Yeah, but he’s the chief exorcist. Probably spends all his time now reading reports, issuing permits and drawing up codes. That 70,000 is probably just the number of reports he’s had to file over the years.

Kind of feel sorry for the conserva-goth-Velma girl who was in a group shot but didn’t get her own photo like the rest. Lots of major warning signs going on with this lot. It appears that the demons of vanity and pride have already taken over the group.

I remember reading long ago (I mean 25 years ago or so) an interview of the exorcist of the archbishopric of Lyon who said he believed that a grand total of two of the cases he handled in his whole career were indeed demonic possession.
A bit more recently, the retiring exorcist of Paris mentioned he never saw any nor actually practiced the exorcism rites, his usual method being talking and praying together for a solution to whatever issue the person was having.
So, do all demons congregate in Rome (and also around sexy teen-aged girls, but that’s a given)?
