I was looking at the Amazon Kindle where they have a worldwide wireless coverage map. I was surprised at how good and bad some areas are.
For example, Alberta has blanket coverage, unlike the rest of Canada. Is there a Province sponsored initiative there?
In Europe, the UK is patchy, and the best coverage is in Italy, Turkey, Portugal and Spain; and just across the water Morocco has blanket coverage, and even Western Sahara is good in places, while Algeria, Libya and Tunisia have none. India has some, while Sri Lanka is very good.
Some of the results are not what I would have expected.
