Worst Decision of the Year (So Far) [British, Soccer-related]

IANATF (I am not a Tottenham fan) but…

No-one who follows Premiership football could fail to be dumbfounded by the incompetence of the officials in last night’s Manchester United vs Tottenham match!!!

In the last minute of play, the ball went a couple of feet inside the Man United net having been dropped there by the goalie Carroll. But neither the linesman nor the referee saw it, and the Tottenham goal was disallowed, giving Man U an undeserved point.

No wonder the officials are accused of being homers and Man U fans by supporters. This could cost Tottenham a hell of a lot of money if they miss out on European qualification by the 2 points they’ve been robbed of last night  !

Why, oh why didn’t they just take a minute out to look at a video replay? What’s the point of having the fucking things if you can’t use them to settle contested decisions?

The league tallies should be adjusted to reflect the real result.

The FA is a sterile, cash sucking whore.

They are next to useless - the excuse of not slowing down the game by using video replays is complete and utter bollocks.

Points mean prizes - not getting 2 could make a massive difference to many, many people. Make it as fair and accurate as possible. If you cant do that , at LEAST correct the most blindingly obvious mistakes -even after the moment has passed.
