Would, does, or has an overly-sexily-dressed boss made you lose respect for him/her?

Someone once mentioned “purple” to me. I wasn’t trying to be overly purple. Just liked the color and that day it so happened that the stars aligned and well, purple exploded. Purple shoes, purple pen, purple phone cover, purple shirt. I’ve been overly sensitive ever since. :stuck_out_tongue:

Course I’ve been known to occasionally wear 3 inch heels too, just 'cause. I do prefer that my buttons actually button.

If her cube is done up in Hello Kitty gear maybe. But if it’s normal stuff that happens to be pink, I don’t see why it should be different than any other color just because it’s associated with women. Getting matchy matchy with the office supplies is a little fussy, but whatever.

I considered naming my daughter a gender-neutral name, so that she could be taken more seriously in her career. Then I decided F that. Having a feminine name doesn’t make you any less professional, and I think we are slowly moving over that hump.
