At the very end of the race, there was one horse coming up fast (jockey in green I think) who would have passed Justify and others if the course had been fifty feet longer. Anyone know what horse that was?
Bravazo, trained by D. Wayne Lukas.
Don’t be so sure he would have passed Justify. Even though 3 horses were making up ground on him approaching the finish, he didn’t allow any of them to pass him on the gallop out past the wire.
If the race was longer who’s to say Justify wouldn’t have run it differently? That’s the whole point of the Preakness, it’s short.
