would somebody please debunk this article about Bush being indicted

I was cruising various internet sites this morning and got this link sent to me via instant messenger. I assume there are parts of this article that are true, but an overwhelming majority must be made up or completely blown out of proportion. Not that I believe everything I read on prisonplanet.com, but some of their articles do interest me from time to time. So could a more educated person than myself debunk this article so I can IM my friend back and tell him to just calm down and learn to grin and bear it for the rest of W’s term in the White House.

Can’t debunk the substance of it since it all relies on a supposed leak from a source close to a grand jury investigation, but this did draw my attention:

In late July, reports about the recent bomb scare in the subway under the congressional offices at the Dirksen Building—coincidently near where Fitzgerald was holding his grand jury hearings—raised questions as to whether government operatives were sending the zealous prosecutor a “warning message” that he was entering dangerous waters with his investigation.

WTF? One, I thought the article said the investigation was taking place in Chicago. The Dirksen building is in DC. Two, if the grand jury was meeting at the US Court House in DC, then that’s still around four blocks from Dirksen. It would be ridiculous to assert that a “message” was being sent by a bomb scare in a building four blocks from a grand jury room. If a message was being sent, it would make more sense to actually place that “message” some place close to the actual grand jury, wouldn’t it?

Also, why is a Chicago prosecutor looking into this? Wouldn’t this be a case for someone based in DC?

A lot about this article makes no sense unless you are blinded to logic by your overwhelming hatred of Bush.

I stand corrected. I saw Dirksen and “Congressional offices” and my mind automatically assumed the Dirksen Senate Building in DC.

I dunno. Why don’t you ask the people who appointed him special prosecuter, which would be the Justice Department? And I might add that if somebody in Justice was hoping he’d roll over for them they haven’t been following his career. Fitzgerald is a pit bull.
