Well, why not? If Gore does push for a revote, that would make polling stations in an ideal target.

I agree that this is a question out of left field, but think about it.
If they bombed a polloing place around say…11am…and then another one around 1pm…
And then they started faxing out warnings to the FBI, Police Stations and media outlets, they would end the vote.
This would throw America into turmoil if we thought we couldn’t vote. The militia’s would blame Clinton, the environmentals would blame Bush. If the bombs were in minority areas Jesse Jackson would blame it on white people.
It sure seems like a juicy target.
But then I was sure that there would be at least ONE terrorist attack on Y2K. Nothing. Nada. Zip.
The bottom line is that a terrorist attack is a lot of hard work, or is done by a random crazy. I see the odds of this around…000000001% It would be a good story though.
Thing is, if terrorists wanted an attack to disrupt an election, why didn’t they do it – oh, I dunno – during the election?
See, that’s just the point David. THESE terrorists knew that this vote would be thrown out in florida, and they were waiting for the re-vote. That way they only had to disrupt Florida and the whole nation would be watching anyway.
