So, let’s assume that the SCOTUS has just ruled that the current 16th Amendment was not properly ratified and has no legal meaning.
Do you think that Congress and the requisite 37 states would introduce and ratify (respectively) a replacement 16th? If you say “No”, what do you think they would do? We couldn’t begin to pay for defense with tariffs (not to mention all the other shit), so how would they do it?
