Here’s a technique some shoppers use. Divide the price by the number of times you’ll probably wear it.

$490 / 3 times to fancy parties = $163 per use, expensive, probaly not worth it.

$490 / 100 times = $5 per use, not too bad, probably worth it

$490 / 1000 times = $0.49 per use, a great bargin! (Imagine a ring you wear every day for years, that kind of thing.)
