Ok, im not from the US, but if it was my country then yes i would fight. I do think that many of you overestimate the amount of people who would be willing to fight. Look at WW2, the Germans held Europe for nearly 5 years, and arguably if they hadnt invaded
Russia then possibly they would have held on to it. Resistance is determined by how well the invaders treat the indigenous population, if they let them get on with life pretty well, then you would find that many would just accept it. But resistance can work
just ask the russians about afghanistan.
