Haven’t had a drive up intrusion since then. Of course now we have an alarm/auto gate and several security lights down the driveway.

The guy sat threateningly in my drive way 30min. Moving forward, backing up. Moving forward again.
His window was down. I hollered several times “what do you want?, who are you looking for?” He sat, smoked, threw cigarettes out his window and watched.
I put small children and pets in a safe place, got the rifle, loaded it. Went on the porch. Made a big show of putting the safety off. Hollered at him to leave. He moved forward again. I shot his headlight out. He left right then leaving a rut on my grass.
Oh, no landline. No cel service. Cops at least 30mins away most likely closer to 1 hour. If I could call them.

We’re lucky. The police respond quickly when our neighbor calls about a trespassing salesman. Easy money for the town.
Salesmen always stop at Chuck’s house first. He calls the cops and chats with the salesman. When they leave his house he texts me and the other neighbor to warn us and ask that we delay a bit.

Well I wouldn’t have one, but if it becomes popular in spite of my opinion, the next kickstarter will be a paint-ball mess cleanup business, cause you’re gonna need that.
Isn’t there a system for gardens that detects and sprays water at pests? Say a deer eating your lettuce or something.
Yes. Search Amazon for “pest sprinkler” and you’ll see lots of them.
