Would you live in one of these? A Submersible home? Cool pics....

WOW! In my quest for the unique I have discovered the Trilobis 65 - a boat that is a home with an under water observation deck. I’m not for the ultra modern/spaceshipish look normally, but I really like this thing.

What say you? Would you live in one?

The low ceilings would freak me out.

If I can moor it in the Turks & Caicos, then I’d do it in a heartbeat. Lake Ontario? Not so much. Also, I’d have to get a divorce first. My wife is afraid of the water.

Theoretically, I’d move in a second.
In reality, I don’t think that my current lifestyle would allow it, even if I could somehow afford it. I don’t care what they say about the strength of the material, I have faith in my kids ability to destroy anything once they’ve decided to.

Peace - DESK

Theoretically, I would love to. However, I’m sure I will never make enough money to be able to afford one. If I ever did get one, I would probably want it customized. For instance, instead of the six beds, just one king size (what would hubby and I do with 5 other beds?).

Awesome idea though. Have any been built? (I only skimmed the article)

That’s amazingly cool.

I’d rather die than live in one, but it’s amazingly cool nonetheless.

Basically a very cool, multi-level houseboat, for a very, very cool $4-5 million.

I suppose as a nifty toy after I won the Powerball Lottery of $400 million…and maybe park it in the Bahamas, or off the Isle of Crete although I am not quite sure how much fun that sail across the Atlantic would be in it.

I think the best idea would be to buy five and get that wharf pod, and then rent them out to rich tourists…so, if anyone has an extra $20-25 million they want to invest, let me know and I will scout out some locations.

Would I live in it? Sure. But location would be the main selling point. Probably wouldn’t be a lot of fun to have it docked on Lake Michigan near Gary, Indiana.

Would it allow you to survive a tsunami?

Or, how fast would it let you boat out of the way?

I’d say yeah, so long as none of us were the sea-sick type. Though I’d prefer it for a vacation home, if I were rich enough to afford it in the first place.

Nay, says I.

I’d rather live in a coastal community and spend time on the water in a traditional boat.

In theory, I’d love to live in a boat like that.

In reality, I’d probably develop extreme anxiety over the glass breaking or something, so I’d never be able to enjoy it.
