Would you rather be right or rich?

With the plethoria of " Who wants to be a bajillionaire" shows on tv now, this subject has come up between Mr. Ujest and myself more than a few times.

I think it’s GREED, where they fan out a big wad of money before you to put the pressure on you before your next big answer.

My husband, normally an unflappable kind of guy when the pressure is on, just goes nuts when they do this. " Can you imagine the pressure…all that money…blah blah blah." I’m pretty sure he is all agog because he is the breadwinner of the family and naturally, feels alot of pressure.

This money waving doesn’t phase me at all. As much as X amount would reconcile alot of bills and settle some lingering worries in the future, I would rather be right.

I’ve been poor, so to speak, my entire life. All because of my investment choices and carefree spending. In reality, I’ve probably had well over $100,000, or more, just not all at once. Just a paycheck at a time. Being right is something that really cannot be taken away from you and, the bonus part, cannot be taxed.
What is your choice?

Well, since I’m already always right, I’d obviously like to be rich, too!

I have been poor all my life.
I want to be rich!
You can be right, I’ll be rich.

Money CAN buy happiness, if you know where to shop.
Money can’t buy love, but you CAN rent it.

Money leaves your hand. Being right stays forever…

I’ll go with rich, and then publish my own textbooks that indeed prove the Swedish bombed Pearl Harbor, chickens control the International Monetary Fund, and when the lights are turned off my skin color changes to gray but always turns pink right when I turn the lights back on.

Once again, there area four choices. In order:
Rich and right
Rich and wrong
Poor and right
Poor and wrong

I’d take being rich over being right. With enough
money, you can be wrong as hell and get away
with it (O.J., Ramseys, Darell Strawberry, etc.
etc.)

I have to agree with Annie-Xmas on this one. Rich people get away with a lot of crap that ordinary people have to do time for.

And what did Daryl Strawberry do anyway, did I miss something?

again, i’m rarely ever right, so i’ll take rich, especially if i’m also happy.

right?

Well, mine would be:

Rich and right
Poor and right
Rich and wrong

Poor and wrong
