Cancer. Don’t even have to think about it.
As someone who isn’t actually married and is in the medical field (so when I think of cancer I think of how ugly some of the worst forms of cancer can be), it’s probably easier for me to say I’d take the divorce than it is for someone who really is married.
Divorce is certainly not a picnic either, but I think I could cope with it since I feel pretty okay about being single for the foreseeable future.
Anyway, I’m glad that you seem to be okay with your situation. I certainly wish you the best of health and continued happiness with your wife. 
My parents were divorced, and both died of cancer. Divorce is more preferable by far.
Cancer.
I was mildly upset after talking with our financial advisor one day. I found out the most responsible thing I could do for my family is die.
Either way, I would be abandoning my children and the woman I swore to care for until death parts us. At least with cancer they would know that I never, ever wanted to do it.
I don’t mean to offend anyone who either had cancer or got divorced.
