Wrapping Presents!

What, there was no holding the scissors far above younger siblings’ heads, doing a little dance, and chanting, “I got the scii-ssors, I got the scii-sscors,” (sometimes followed by offering the scissors and then yanking them out of reach)?

Wanna trade siblings?

I love wrapping presents, too. I think I do a pretty good job. I learned from my stepmother, who always does interesting things.

What I do not love, is going home right after finals (usually 2 or 3 days before Christmas), and having my dad come to my room at 10 o’clock at night, with all of the presents he got for my stepmother and needs me to wrap. Last year I told him he needed to buy wrapping paper if he was going to pull that stunt, because I was tired of going through all my nice wrapping paper. Yes, I know I should be in the holiday spirit, but I am a poor college student.

How do you think I learned to wrap presents? Starting when I was around 6 years old, my dad would bring me my mom’s gifts to wrap. I had to learn how to fold paper and keep a secret (much better than my father, I might add).

My wife loves to wrap to, thank God!!!

Gift bags are a gift from G-d.
Wrapping is not my favorite thing.
Screwing up an adult and child gift tags makes for an interesting holiday. Very few six year olds shop at “Victoria’s Secret”
