Saw this last night. Standard Strahan movie, with I guess a bit of Guy Ritchie trying to be arty (maybe he is know for that, I don’t follow movies much). Fine for what it is, glad I saw it, won’t watch it again.
Saw “Scott Eastwood” in the opening credits, thought “I wonder if that is Clint’s kid (or maybe grandkid)”. When he showed up it was pretty obvious that he was.
Strahan is the head of an apparently large criminal organization (you might think it is small time until he starts throwing massive cash at his quest). They were apparently contracted to act as route monitors for the bad guys (which is what sets up the movie), but a big chunk of the movie is Strahan’s gang trying to figure out who these guys are. Shouldn’t they know who hired/paid them? There is no indication that they even think there is a connection.
At the end, Strahan gets hosed down by some sort of automatic weapon. Not that I actually thought he was dead, but he apparently beats the surviving bad guy to his secret, leased/purchased under a different name loft. No indication that I recall that he was wearing body armor.
