for the entire length of the movie it was like there was this “other” cartel, and then in the end it kinda turned out to be one and the same ? but that absolutely makes no sense.

I saw the film last week and as far as I could make out there was only the one cartel and the fella who was in jail was El Diablo all along. I can’t be too sure as I was somewhat distracted by the sight of Vin Diesel in a BPV <swoons>
