That was hilarious! I can write good letters, but not such humorous ones!
I wish I had Justin’s help in writing a letter to the library building I work in. I got stuck in the elevator on Monday, for the second time in a year, and both times the emergency phone was inoperative. Of course they say it’s fixed now, but when I asked what caused the elevator to stick and trap me for five hours I was told they are working to get to the bottom of it. I asked why, if the cause of the problem is unknown, folks are allowed to use the elevator. “Well, the emergency phone IS working now” was all the reply I got.
I wonder how far Justin’s letter is going to go? Is it going to be one of those things that goes around the world, is turned into a spam type urban legend, and has to be corrected on Snopes?
Wouldn’t that be just the thing you don’t want to do with an elevator?
