I always see the Homeland Security banner ad advising to “Be Prepared” with a plan for one’s pets.
Considering the fact that my children live in an area with a big fat target on it - it probably isn’t a bad idea.
However, our preparations will likely take the form of general disaster planning - tornadoes and hurricanes can hit here as easily as a terrorist strike, and I’ve lived through all three. Near misses all, but enough to educate you.
