What is interesting is the Trump administration is currently in a case being heard by the Supreme Court claiming the president has absolute immunity from any investigation.
So by Trump’s own thinking Obama can’t be investigated for any of that. Or anything else while he was president.
All I know about Operation Cassandra I learned from the link above. From that,

Trump has a short memory (except about people he hates), or he screws up enough and gets criticized enough that he almost always has someone to scream at. He screams at Obama for daring to criticize him, then tries to find things in his record to attack him with and, failing that, just “invents” a scandal. I’m a bit surprised he didn’t Twitter-scream at those two female reporters who dared to ask him non-softball questions. Hardballgate?

Nobody was surprised that a large majority of organized tax fraud was committed by right-wing or Republican-aligned organizations: Cheating has become the quintessential Republican “value.”
The scandal was that the IRS failed to trump up charges against enough innocent left-wing organizations to provide balance.
IIRC, Obama’s IRS dropped its cases against Republican cheaters to appease Moscow Mitch and the other Top Cheaters. And now we have a President who gleefully denies PPE and other aid to Democratic Governors who fail to kiss his putrid ass.

But if you want to view an explanation/ timeline of #obamagate, try this.
Are you saying Trump’s policy of kidnapping children and putting them in concentration camps is the same as holding children who didn’t arrive with their parents in the first place temporarily? Did Obama shuffle them on to military bases so the press couldn’t report on how they’re being treated too? Did Obama deliberately deny them medical care too?
I would not be surprised to learn the Trump administration had these children euthanized.
His pathological loathing of Obama is disturbing. Trump is going to lose in November and live out the rest of his days fighting legal action and being loathed entirely (even his diehards will jump ship after defeat). Obama will live as an iconic statesman…

The confidence that there will be a strong turn out by non Republicans for the 2020 presidential election is touching. However, I am sure that there are enough unelectable names on the ballot in many states to allow people to vote against President Trump in a way which cannot possibly affect the outcome. The forty four million folks who voted for him last time are all going to fall out, line up, and vote for him again. President Donald Trump has done nothing which the rank and file of the party do not support, ethically, politically, and personally. He accurately reflects the morality of his party.
Sadly, the one thing the Democratic Party lacks, as usual, is actual voters. “It’s Hillary’s turn!” “Biden can’t lead the party!” “Bernie should run as an independent.” “We need a woman president!” “I’m gonna hold my breath and kick my feet until I turn blue!”
Saw this, went huhwhat?? because I’d never heard of this one. And from an era where a Presidential tan suit was elevated into a mini-scandal, I had a hard time the right-wing media wouldn’t have made a bigger deal out of a genuine scandal.
Your source has William Bennett and Peggy Noonan on the masthead, and seems to be yet another conservative rag, so if you can’t find a better source, I’d say this is making a mountain out of a molehill, if not something out of nothing.
