I remember a thread in which I mentioned that my wife at the time and I were trying to have a child through IVF. Otto came along and stated he wished I’d never have a kid. I never forgot that.

The “I am [strikethrough]Spartacus[/striketrough] Otto” post was disappeared though. the PC apeman’s profile doesn’t show him as BANNED, but it could be that he was and no one has gotten around to changing the tag yet.
For some reason the “sweep it under the rug” stuff bugs me more than the original banning. If the PC apeman broke the rules, ban his ass. If the thread can’t stay open without being hijacked, lock it and direct discussion here. Sure his post was of dubious value, but if all such posts are going to be disappeared the hidden forums will be bigger than MPSIMS.

Even Bricker. Didn’t particularly like him, but didn’t hate him. Oh…and the lady lawyer I once snarked on kinda bad. Forgot her name, gave her grief about working for the dark side doing insurance defense, but secretly kinda thought she was groovy…for a defense lawyer.

Congrats **duffer **and welcome back. I am not defending **Otto **in this thread, I just think it was a terrible move as I fully expected this sort of outcry when it happened. I really hope **Ed **makes a decision to change it to a suspension (soon).
I saw Q.E.D. with BANNED a while ago and wondered what that was about. Search is still appears to be disabled.
Otto’s question is a re-factoring of the age old “Are standards so high they’ve doubled?”
