At Day 1 RAW, I retained the World Title against Seth in a Falls Count Anywhere match. I hit a Frog Splash from the top rope to the floor. Seth used his Finisher Steal to put me in the Crossface. In the end, I defeated him with a Future Shock on the floor.
Diamond Dallas Page beat me back in November, so I decided he’d be my feud for Royal Rumble. Two mandatory title defenses left before WrestleMania. Maybe I’ll get to the main event this year.
DDP called me out on the next RAW and I accepted his challenge. A match was made for the following week in which my old enemy Karrion Kross (whom I beat at Survivor Series) would be the special guest referee. Kross was rated Very Fair in his duties and I won quickly with a basic move. So I’m 2-1 lifetime so far against DDP.
I beat Jey Uso after a mid-match distraction from Page. I beat Jey all the time. Something nice about '25 is that the crowd yeets along to Jey’s entrance.
Oba Femi won the Men’s Royal Rumble. I did not see that coming. WWE building for the future.
I beat DDP with the Glasgow Kiss to end the feud. I don’t think he got in a single offensive move.
Bianca Belair won the Women’s Royal Rumble.
I chose Hulk Hogan to be my feud partner for February and the Elimination Chamber, my last stop before WrestleMania. I interrupted a promo of his and he challenged me to face him immediately on the RAW after Royal Rumble.
I was disappointed with how easily I beat him. One Future Shock and one Claymore was all it took.
I promoted Oba Femi from NXT to RAW; I wonder which belt he’ll challenge for at WrestleMania.
The next week, I battled Bronson Reed in a non-title match. I tried to superplex him through the ring but the computer wouldn’t let me do it because it needed the ring intact for the post-match angle in which Hogan jumped me from behind, waited for me to get up, and hit me with the belt.
I faced Hogan again the following week and beat him again, this time with a Falcon Arrow. It was just a little bit harder this time, but still only a two-star match.
The next week, I beat Jey again with a Gutwrench Powerbomb in a contest spent mostly on figuring out the Carry System.
Natalya and Kevin Owens won the Elimination Chamber matches.
And OH NO! Hogan tapped me out quickly with a rear face lock! Hulk Hogan is the new World Heavyweight Champion! And he did it in front of the entire Syndicate!
This time I did what I should have done last year and challenged for a rematch on the next RAW.
Hulk Hogan '02 by default has the Hollywood Hogan champion entrance, which sucks because it has the nWo black and white screen effects. There was no way to keep the strumming on the belt motions while dropping the screen effects, so I had to change him to his default entrance as a champion.
In the title match, Hogan hit me with the Big Boot for the two-count, got a rope break on my Crossface finisher, and countered the Future Shock. But I dodged the Leg Drop and got the pinfall victory after a Gutwrench Powerbomb.
Drew is now a four-time World Heavyweight Champion, and has held six world titles in WWE.
The next week on RAW, I fought Bronson Reed in a non-title match and beat him. Ken Shamrock accompanied me and our post-match celebration came off as very effeminate, so I went and changed it to Gallus’s celebration.
I beat Hogan once more in a non-title match that was the best of our fights so far. I ate both a Big Boot and a Leg Drop, having to use my Resilience to kick out of the latter. I tried very hard to tap him out like he did me at Elimination Chamber, but I couldn’t.
Still no computer-generated feud for WrestleMania, so I made one with Royal Rumble winner Oba Femi. I talked shit about him and he challenged me to a match next week on RAW. I deliberately got a quick double count-out to whet the crowd’s appetite for WrestleMania.
But somehow Gunther is getting the shot, not Oba Femi. And I’m feuding with him now. The computer overrode my choice. Maybe Oba lost the title shot sometime after January.
But it is the main event of WrestleMania. I made it.
I beat Gunther but it was hairy. He hit me with the Powerbomb at one point.
I’m starting a WCW Universe mode with Wes Lee, who’s ranked #10 for the Cruiserweight Title. My first feud will be with Ilja Dragunov.
Wes Lee
My feud with Ilja Dragunov in WCW began with the two of us shaking hands, actually. I beat him with the Spinal Tap in a three-star, one-sided match.
The next week on Nitro, we were to team together against Ethan Page and Cedric Alexander. But the game had me walk out on Ilja when he tried to tag out. He held on for awhile but fell victim to an Ethan crucifix powerbomb.
We were forced to be partners again the following week, but this time we got into an argument and Ilja walked out on me. I beat Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Montez Ford by myself, with Ford never tagging in. Mostly I beat up Stacks on the floor.
I beat Ilja at Slamboree to end the feud. I’m now going into June, and my feud going into Great American Bash will be Trick Williams.
Wes Lee
I beat Trick Williams on Nitro with a Frog Splash after he kicked out of the Spinal Tap, and after the match, as part of an angle, I attacked him and threw him into the stairs.
I beat him again the following week with the Spinal Tap. No angle.
The following week, I dumped Trick’s scheduled opponent, Ilja Dragunov, at the top of the ramp, and attacked Trick. It went on for several minutes in what I thought was a match before it ended. No match.
The following week, I attacked Trick from behind while my music played. It also wasn’t an official match. It wouldn’t allow me to put him on the announce table, for example, even though I was able to clear it off.
There was no announce desk at Great American Bash, and I beat Trick Williams in a No Holds Barred match to end the feud. The stipulation didn’t come into play. I was too much for him to handle throughout the entire feud.
I am now the #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Title, so I’m going to feud with champion Noam Dar leading into Bash at the Beach.
Wes Lee
Before my non-title match with Cruiserweight Champion Noam Dar on Nitro, Dar wanted a handshake and I slapped him in the face. I beat him in the ensuing match.
Before our next match on Nitro, Dar attacked me from behind with the Cruiserweight Title belt in the ramp. But this time, off an exchange of punches which I lost, Dar tapped me out with an Achilles Lock.
Our blow-off match at Bash at the Beach was lackluster but I did capture the Cruiserweight Title after hitting Dar with a chair and a Canadian Destroyer.
Going into August and Road Wild, I chose to not manually create a feud. My first match as Cruiserweight Champion was against Cedric Alexander, an easy win after a crossbody splash.
Next week was a non-title rematch against Dar on Nitro. This time, Dar was accompanied by Oro Mensah and Lash Legend. I beat him pretty easily too. And then I chose to defend the title in an open challenge on Nitro, and beat Charlie Dempsey.
After defeating Dar again, I put the Cruiserweight Title up for grabs in an open challenge at Road Wild since the computer hadn’t given me a feud yet. Turned out to be a rematch with Dempsey. I beat him after a Spinning Fisherman Driver and Spinal Tap.
My record is now 13-2, with one loss by submission and one loss because I walked out on my partner.
Wes Lee
On the Nitro after Road Wild, I lost the Cruiserweight Title to Ilja Dragunov in a triple-threat match when he pinned Noam Dar.
On the following Nitro, I called out Dragunov for a match, but he said no. I’ll be interested to see what happens next.
Before my match with Dragon Lee on Nitro, Ilja attacked me on the stage. I still won, this time with a Spider Suplex from the top rope which put me right on the top turnbuckle so I could hit a Spinal Tap for three. Post-match, Ilja and I brawled on the stage and were separated by officials.
The next week, I called out Ilja and he didn’t bother showing up.
But the following week, I made an open challenge and Ilja answered it. It was a close contest. He kicked out of the Spider Suplex/Spinal Tap combo but I beat him with the Canadian Destroyer.
I beat him at the next show, Fall Brawl, to win my second Cruiserweight Title. Spider Suplex/Spinal Tap combo again after he kicked out of the Canadian Destroyer.
I’ll play Wes through Halloween Havoc and then go back to Drew for awhile.
Wes Lee October Year 1
I decided to feud with the #1 contender, Oro Mensah. Before our first match on Nitro, he offered a handshake but pulled it away disrespectfully. I beat him.
I came out for a self-promo the following week. I feel the need to say that when you come out for a promo as the champion, you do not bring the belt with you. Hurts my suspension of disbelief a little bit.
I said I would make my opponent tap out in the next match. That opponent was Mensah again, and it was a Special Guest Referee match. LA Knight called for the bell while Mensah was in the Octopus Stretch even though he hadn’t tapped out. He got an Abysmal rating as ref. And they had special commentary for Knight coming out as referee, saying that he’d done it before and he usually keeps his sunglasses on. (He didn’t this time). They also wondered if BFTs were in the future for the participants.
The next week, Mensah again wanted a handshake and pulled it back, but this time I slapped him in the face for the disrespect. So many different angles in this game! This time he finally beat me, with a corner lock to the face.
I retained the Cruiserweight Title against Oro Mensah in a No Holds Barred match at Halloween Havoc. And I was finally able to put someone through the announce table like I’ve been trying to do for awhile, and it happened to be him.
By the way, in the main event of Halloween Havoc, Sami Zayn won the World Heavyweight Title for the first time, beating Sheamus.
I’m going to go back to the other file and play more as Drew.
Other Modes
I played the Ambulance match before my outing today, with 25 minutes to play before I had to go. I beat it in a respectable 15 or 20 minutes. It was nowhere near as impossible as it was last year. I think I managed to close the doors on the third try.
Drew McIntyre, April Year 2
I beat my old nemesis Seth Rollins on RAW and afterwards Gunther attacked him. I made the save.
Last time this angle happened, it was with CM Punk being attacked by Julius Creed. I immediately had Punk join The Syndicate. I’m not doing that with Rollins, at least not right away. I’m gonna see what happens.
Rollins accompanied me to the ring for a non-title match with Gunther on RAW, and midway through the contest, there was a referee bump cutscene. Rollins grabbed a chair and handed it to me, and I regained control and hit Gunther with the chair multiple times. A Crossface failed to tap him out, but I hit him with the Claymore for three. Post-match, Drew and Seth took turns beating up Gunther with another chair.
The following week on RAW, I had an Elimination Chamber rematch against the man I lost my third World Title and won my fourth from - Hulk Hogan. Drew wanted no part of this match, but Gunther appeared behind me and threw me in the ring. So, am I a good guy or a bad guy?
I kicked out of a Big Boot and two Leg Drops, needing Resilience for the second one. Hogan kicked out of the Claymore. I was saving my Signature meter for the Future Shock but when I was getting my butt kicked, I realized I needed to use it for Instant Recovery or I’d never get back in the match. I beat Hogan with an inside cradle in a very tough battle. Non-title.
May Year 3
The next week on RAW, I beat Bronson Reed. After the match, the lights turned off and when they came back up, Gunther was in the ring and gave me a Chokeslam. Not originally designed for him, I think.
Despite the fact that I was feuding with Gunther, the AI booked me in a World Heavyweight Title defense against Diamond Dallas Page at Backlash. Gunther was not involved in the match at all. I beat DDP fairly easily. At one point I hit a diving elbow drop from the top turnbuckle to the floor, driving DDP through the Prime Hydration Station and breaking it into several pieces. Shelves here, bottles there. It was awesome.
I’m still feuding with Gunther.
I decided to change the World Heavyweight Title to the original Big Gold Belt design, and in order to get credit for a reign, I need to win the vacant belt. So I had a match with Gunther on RAW for the World Heavyweight Title, in a Hell in a Cell match.
I didn’t really get much use out of the stipulation. I never have been good at maneuvering in Cell matches. But I won. I count this as my fifth World Heavyweight Title, and seventh world title in WWE.
Drew McIntyre, June Year 3
I chose Kurt Angle to be my next feud. I beat him on RAW and he went sorrowfully away, continuing the feud. Next is a World Heavyweight Title defense against him at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Ken Shamrock accompanied me. I retained after a Claymore. Kurt complained after the match, and the feud will continue.
I cut a promo saying I was going to win my next match, and I was curious if it would work with the open challenge system, so I checked by putting the World Heavyweight Title on the line in an open challenge on RAW, answered by Brutus Creed. It did work. I retained.
Wes Lee, November Year 1
I jumped Oro Mensah as he was entering the ring for our match on Nitro, gaining an advantage on him as he started out sitting in the corner with part of his meter drained. He hit his Running Capo Kick that he beat me with once, but I kicked out of it this time and dodged a second one. I beat him after a Spider Suplex, Meteora and Spinal Tap.
On the next Nitro, Mensah distracted me mid-match, allowing Trick Williams to get a roll-up. I prevailed after the Spider Suplex/Spinal Tap combo. I love that combo because the Suplex ends with you already on the top turnbuckle for the diving, twisting Moonsault.
The next week, I beat Nathan Frazer, and post-match, Mensah attacked him, so I made the save. I manually created a tag-team match for the next Nitro - Lee and Frazer vs. Mensah and Dar of Meta-Four. Dar pinned Frazer after his finisher, a running enziguiri. I didn’t bother running in for the save because Nathan wasn’t in the red and I thought he would kick out. So we lost that match.
So my Cruiserweight Title defense against Oro Mensah was the semi-main of a new PPV, Carnival Chaos. The set is outside with palm trees and a killer clown logo. If you’re playing WCW, you should definitely download it from Community Creations.
I beat Mensah after the Canadian Destroyer.
The next Nitro, I decided to challenge Ridge Holland for the World Television Championship to see if I could become a double champion. It was booked as the main event of the show, which is the first time that’s happened, I believe.
I beat Holland after the Spinal Tap and became the new World Television Champion. I raised both belts after the match.
Wes Lee, December Year 1
I answered Ridge Holland’s open challenge and beat him in a non-title match on Nitro. The next week I beat Brooks Jensen to retain the TV Title. After my next match, against my ancient adversary Ilja Dragunov, Holland attacked Ilja after he lost to me, and I made the save.
Holland got his TV Title rematch with me at Starrcade. I retained to end the feud, and decided to feud with Ludwig Kaiser. He came to the ring and stared me down after a Nitro win over Oro Mensah. Kaiser is a head taller than Wes Lee; big guy.
I teamed together with Kaiser to battle Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart of The Hart Foundation. I blind-tagged myself into the match at the start, and we had a mid-match cutscene in which we had a miscommunication and The Hart Foundation took advantage of it.
I pinned Neidhart after the Spinal Tap, but post-match Kaiser got in my face, apparently upset with the way in which we won the match.
The next week on Nitro, Kaiser came out to watch my match with LA Knight, and in the middle of the match he got wiped out when I redirected a Knight clothesline into him. He left. I kicked out of a BFT and Knight kicked out of the Spinal Tap, but I won. Probably the biggest win of my career this far.
On the Royal Rumble go-home show, I beat Oro Mensah, one of the few guys to beat me on this run. Kaiser attacked him after the match and I made the save.
I had a TV Title defense against Kaiser at the Royal Rumble. I retained the title but Kaiser complained afterwards, implying that the feud will continue.
Wes Lee, February Year 1
I set up a Cruiserweight Title Open Challenge on Nitro, and it was answered by Charlie Dempsey, whom I defeated.
I lost the Cruiserweight Title the following week to Dragon Lee in a six-man Gauntlet Eliminator match. I had actually hoped to lose the title, as now I can focus exclusively on the TV Title.
I came to the aid of Cedric Alexander after Ludwig Kaiser attacked him when I beat Cedric.
I retained the TV Title at Elimination Chamber against Kaiser to end the feud.
