WWE - AKA "Professional" Wrestling - Huh?
…but seriously how can you watch this crap?
Hell of a question coming from a Leafs fan. :dubious:
Specifically about Benoit… I loved watching that man. He was the guy who made me forget that wrestling was “fake”. He sold every move, he had the intensity that made you believe he was out there really fighting. With him it really seemed to be a life and death scenario.
Yes, much like the intensity he and Stone Cold had/have for beating their wives like pinatas, (according to Stone Cold’s ex) and in Benoit’s case, plunger punching himself into a suicidal/homicidal maniac. I’m sure he “sold every move” at home as well.
Sure, and after the movie we don’t see interviews with Sly Stallone and Carl Weathers talking shit about how they’re going to GET EACH OTHER AND PROVE THAT THEY’RE THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!
But you do at the beginning of Rocky II.

So because two wrestlers out of hundreds have beaten their wives that says…what about wrestling again?

I don’t know what it says about wrestlers on the whole, and I never made any comments about wrestlers other than the two in my post. So to answer your question, my post says nothing about wrestling. Which is the conclusion you should have been able to draw from the words contained in my post.

So you’re questioning the men, not wrestling. I misunderstood. My bad.
It’s the male version of a soap opera.

“Rescue Me” is the male version of a soap opera. Professional Wrestling is the male version of a soap opera plus a bunch of oversized stuntmen.

Seems pretty similar to saying OJ was a good running back.
