Heads up for xboxxers

The new indianna jones game is serious kick ass.

Do you have a cite for that? I realize that amazon.com is not the be-all end-all list of xbox games but I just can’t imagine there being over 500 games out there that they just don’t feel like listing.

Sure, Cisco, I’m sure gamefaqs.com has a similar list, but if you want you can try ps2-news.org for ps2 & xbox game lists, I searched for ‘all’ games & that’s where I got those numbers.

I am trying to puzzle my head around the statement: “The new indianna jones game is serious kick ass.”

Oh well, I have a PS2 and a PC. I looked at getting the XBOX but there weren’t as many games that I had played there that were as fun as GTA3:VC, Gitaroo Man, or even Sly Cooper. Halo was fun but I couldn’t get into it. Morrowind is sitting on my PC largely unplayed. Sure the game is beautiful but it isn’t really fun for me to play.

Heh, really? I thought the exact opposite. With the exception of some pretty water effects, that game is butt-ugly, but I have a blast with it.

We bought Morrowind for the XBox and also got it with the new video cards when we upgraded. It’s basically unplayed, though my GF (RPG Dork) attempted it and quit after about ten seconds.

I have an Xbox, and I have played on the Gamecube. In fact if I was to purchase a second system it would be Gamecube, just for the Star Wars games. ElJeffe is absolutely correct about the 5.1 surround sound… Take Halo for example; the window shaking explosions, the headache inducing thump-thump when someone is at one health point (in multiplayer with my wife and two kids someone always has to say, “Get a healthpack already” , and the sound of your enemy swooping in behind you in campaign mode all add to the overall enjoyment of playing the games.

I have never owned more than 5 or 6 games for any platform until I bought the Xbox (we have 8 now). So having dozens and dozens of must haves was not a concern for me, I just wanted 5 to 6 really good games, so I went for horsepower, and the lust that Halo caused everytime I saw it sealed the deal.

Halo is cool, but get broadband and XBox Live and pickup MechAssault if you REALLY want to make a lot of noise.
